ABOUT LILLOOET
Lillooet sits on a bench above the Fraser River about two hours northwest of Kamloops, in one of the driest, sunniest pockets of BC. It is Mile 0 of the 1860s Cariboo Wagon Road and the traditional territory of the St'át'imc, and it is where I grew up and went to high school.
People move here for hot summers, river-valley living, and prices that are generally below Kamloops and the coast. There are working farms and ranches on the benches, estate wineries, sturgeon fishing on the Fraser, Seton Lake just south of town, and hiking and biking straight out the back door.
The market is a mix of in-town homes and rural acreage. I sell here regularly, so if you are looking at a property near the river or up on the bench, talk to me before you write.
